KFACC Key Note at Queen’s University
On Friday, April 27th, 2012, our Executive Director Nneka MacGregor ย delivered a key note address at an event hosted by the Kingston Frontenac Anti-Violence Coordinating Committee (KFACC).
The event called โThis is who I am. This is what I need.โ was held at the John Deutsch University Centre at Queenโs University, and was a unique professional development opportunity for service providers and others working, or in training to work, with victims and survivors of sexu
al violence and/or partner abuse. The purpose of the day was to create an environment for conversations around supporting victims.
Nneka was introduced by the Honourable Johnย Gerretsen,ย Attorney General of Ontario, who commended her and the organizations for their invaluable contribution to the Domestic Violence Action Plan as well as the Sexual Violence Action Plan.
