Originally from the United Kingdom, Ellie (she/her) grew up in Prince Edward Island and relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia to attend Dalhousie University. Ellie graduated with her Bsc. (hon) in medical sciences in 2022 and is currently enrolled as a master’s student in pharmacology studying obesity and pancreatic cancer. In addition to medical sciences, Ellie is also incredibly passionate about social advocacy as demonstrated by her role as member of the BWGGDT national advisory council, executive member on Student Voices for Consent Dalhousie, and her role in creating sexual violence and bystander awareness curriculum for the PEI public school board as a youth member on the Premier’s Action Committee. In her free time, Ellie can be found volunteering with the local therapeutic riding program or out for a walk with her dog and partner.
